Is it protected my hand writing my estranged daughter and my brother who is a lawyer?
Hi, I have a hand written stating that I am leaving everything to my life partner and her boyfriend of 20 years. Besides, my primary residence deficiency has said that my boyfriend has tenenacy joint with right of survivorship. My vacation home South America is in a trust for the country is and specifies that the property goes to my boyfriend. My Life Insurance Policy also specifies that the benefits my life insurance to go to my boyfriend. My concern is my very estranged daughter only, who has never had anything to do with me has joined my brother who is a lawyer. Our concern is that after my death, will try to go after my assets with legal manuvers and other tricks. I have been careful to leave both $ 1 and write a letter to the probate judge to be opened if there is any type of challenge for my brother and his daughter after my death. I can not afford a will, written by a lawyer or a trust of my U.S. properties. Am protected?
