When getting a Life Insurance Policy, what are they looking for when you put the oral swab in your mouth?
When getting a Life Insurance Policy, one must place an oral swab in their mouth for a pre-determined period. I know that it is to check to see if you are a smoker or non-smoker. So what chemical is the company looking for? Nicotine ? Tar? IfI have not smoked in 8 months will they find anything? What about if I smoked a marijuana joint last night?
They are checking whether you have AIDS or not.
As for checking whether you smoke, they will do blood and urine tests on you. With blood and urine tests, you can’t hide anything from the medical examinator.
