Life Insurance Rider
"I can get a refund for seven years of premiums for Life Insurance with a total disability Rider?
I need to know if I can get a refund for the premiums paid. I own policy and did not know there was a waiver of premium rider due to total disability. The insured has been totally disabled due to a stroke since 2001 and has been on social security disability, as time .. Please help, because I believe that American General is trying to give evasive. It is a Life Insurance Policy term
An application for a disability exemption must be filed within a specified period. (As soon as possible after diagnosis) Review your policy provisions for your particular case. The company usually accept the update again claimed payments to the insured, but not more 12 months. Never mind that politics is the end, the DWP is the same. In the policy declarations page, show the benefits of the policy, including waiver of premium benefit. The policy was more than likely explained by the agent when the policy was delivered to you, unless you bought it online. If the policy was purchased online, this is the reason why I always recommend a local agent. Sometimes people forget what they said about politics. So it's good have a policy review at least once a year, for the agent to go about the benefits of the policy, and check with the insured to see if there are changes in their lives have taken place, could increase or decrease the need for insurance to be more or less.
