Unclaimed Life Insurance

How do I find a Life Insurance Policy that was me?
How do I have to do to try to find a Life Insurance Unclaimed it was left to me, not knowing what type of insurance that was subject. It was about five years ago. Ok, maybe I should go into more detail. A few years ago I worked for a man who told me I was a beneficiary of one of their policies. He told me to make a copy of it, but never did. He died one month after it happened. I never knew what insurance company that was or anything, just the amount he said it was for. Well, I never looked at the time, because he was the owner of his company and his family got involved and it was a very uncomfortable situation. Anyway, I looked at the states website and my name did not appear. Now, you may not have money, but I'm thinking now six years later, that if there is, how do I know, without any information. Is my best bet is to hire a lawyer to help in the search?
When you say a life insurance policy was left to think that means you can be a beneficiary should receive the proceeds Of Life Insurance policy. The first thing I would do would be to consult with the employer descendants (if they worked) and many employers offer health insurance of life as an employee benefit. I would also consider carefully the checkbook may have a payment of premiums to an insurance company. I say carefully because there may be one payment per year. Go through the dead files you can find a concrete policy. Understand that politics is finding no guarantee that follows into force. If you find any policies, find applications attached to them. The application will list all Life Insurance Policies owned in policy when requested. Call the insurance agent who wrote your home and auto insurance. That agent could have written a life policy or perhaps sent another agent. If you think that insurance has been made in the last 13 years can try this link is the service http://www.mibsolutions.com/lost-life-insurance/ of Medical Information Agency location policy. The cost is $ 75 per search. To be eligible to apply must be the executor of the estate, the surviving spouse or child of the deceased. If none of these there you may be eligible as a close family member or if you have an expectation reasonable that you would be a beneficiary. Since life insurance proceeds unclaimed funds often end up in state unclaimed property, you can search unclaimed property databases maintained by individual states in which they or the deceased members of the family lived. A database can be accessed by visiting National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators (www.unclaimed.org). Good luck.
